- Business information (for service providers we work with)

- Appointment details and communications you exchange with us
- Payment, billing, and financial account information for service providers who subscribe to our platform, as described in Section 5
We may also receive limited technical information when you use our website, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages visited. Advertising platforms may provide us with information you submit through their lead forms and campaign attribution information associated with your inquiry.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up with you by text, email, or phone
- Schedule and confirm appointments and discovery calls
- Send reminders and follow-up messages
- Respond to questions or customer service requests
- Improve our services and advertising
- Measure lead sources, campaign performance, and website use
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents and comply with legal obligations
3. SMS / Text Messaging
By providing your phone number through one of our ads, forms, or otherwise, you consent to receive text messages from Rainmaker related to your inquiry (e.g., replies to your request, scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups).
- Message frequency: Varies based on your conversation with us, typically 2–6 messages per inquiry.
- Message & data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
- To opt out: Reply STOP to any text message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages.
- For help: Reply HELP or contact us at the information below.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Information may be shared with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and message-delivery vendors, but only as necessary to provide the communications you requested.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information only:
- With a detailing service provider, when necessary to fulfill a service you requested
- With vendors that help us operate our business, such as Meta lead forms, Cal.com scheduling, Stripe (payments, billing, and financial account connections), messaging, email, hosting, and analytics providers
- As required by law or to protect our rights
These vendors may process information only for the services they provide to us and are not authorized by us to use it for their own marketing.
5. Payment and Financial Account Information
If you are a service provider who subscribes to our platform, we collect billing and payment information from you. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card or bank account numbers on our servers; that information is collected and stored by Stripe.
You may also choose to connect a bank or financial account to our platform through Stripe Financial Connections. If you do, you authorize us and Stripe to access data from your linked account, which may include account details, account ownership information (such as the account holder's name and address), account balances, and transaction history. We use this data only to verify your account, process payments and billing you have authorized, display financial information in your dashboard, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your financial account information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Financial account data is shared with Stripe, acting as our service provider, and Stripe's handling of that data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
You may disconnect a linked financial account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us, and you may request that we delete the financial data we have retrieved from it.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us directly.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data using industry-standard practices.

- Request correction or deletion of your information
- Opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP
- Disconnect a linked financial account and request deletion of the data we retrieved from it
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for business owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can delete it.
